(More customer reviews)The home docking station cuts off the FM tuner capability enough to render that feature useless to transmit to other FM radios in the house. For the same dollar amount, buy the car kit, (I bought a 2nd, and will buy a third). The cradle on the car kit sits in a flat surface just as well as the home unit. If I would have known then, I wouldn't have bought the Home Kit..... P.S. I wrote a similar review on Kenwoods' Website.. Hope this helps..........Amps: Eureka, California.........

Enjoy more than 120 channels of Sirius satellite radio while in the living room or kitchen with this comprehensive connection kit, which includes everything you need to connect your Kenwood Sirius Here2Everywhere tuner (sold separately) to your home stereo. The kit comes with a docking cradle (with power connection), a patch cable, and an indoor/outdoor antenna. The kit is intuitive to set up: merely run the minijack-to-RCA patch cable between the Here2Everywhere tuner--which receives 65 commercial-free music streams and 50 sports, news, and entertainment streams regardless of location--and your stereo receiver. Once connected, the satellite radio channels stream through your home speakers, giving you a huge radio playlist without dealing with commercial interruption or FCC regulation. You can also connect the tuner to other audio devices that feature RCA inputs.
The tuner rests comfortably in the docking cradle, which positions it for quick, efficient access to the controls. The cradle also includes a power cord to keep your tuner fully operational. In addition, listeners can move the indoor/outdoor antenna anywhere to any spot on the property to receive optimum reception.
Note: The home kit requires a Here2Everywhere tuner and an active subscription to Sirius Satellite Radio services.
