(More customer reviews)This book provides a lot of information. If you are new to the hobby this is great book to have in the shack. If you have been into ham radio for more than a year most of this information will be old, you should already have this information in other books. The chapters on emergency communications and traffic handling are pretty much a waste, if a major disaster happened the last thing I would be thinking about is radio. It seems like a good portion of the book is the standard league propoganda on how they what activities to occur on the air. After careful consideration this book is not worth $25
