After purchasing the iPad, I thought it would be pretty cool to see if I could use it with the XM Dock. Rather than modifying the XM Dock, I decided to buy the extender to connect to the iPad. Now my iPad acts as an in car entertainment system for my family on long trips. Now we can use the satellite radio, the iPod, watch movies, etc all while the iPad charges.
