(More customer reviews)Having used a x61s with ultrabay dock, I was anticipating a bit more of a solution for an x301 with SSHD. This is not a convenient way to dock; Lenovo missed the boat by not including a docking connection on the base of the PC, and a businesslike dock or port replicator.
Other reviews have addressed the problems with video resolution. If you use a larger screen monitor with this unit you are just going to have to plug the monitor directly into the PC, reducing the usefulness of the replicator. Ditto for power, so there is another cable that you'll have to attach to your laptop. Finally, there is the USB cable that connects to the replicator. So you now have 3 attachments to a VERY expensive USB hub. Save the money and just go to radio shack and get a USB 2.0 hub. You are going to get the same capabilty and avoid the frustration and dissapointment that comes with this device.
C'mon Lenovo...what were you thinking??
