The speakers are coaxial design, tweeter and mid range nested together which makes the chassis surprisingly compact but the sound is big and capable of filling a bedroom, dorm, office or kitchen. Pods dock in the top of the main box but also has an input for connecting to a flat panel or desk top computer. Very natural sounding and easy to connect.
