I have an 80% hearing loss, and have been looking for something that would allow me to hear well without disturbing others. The Sennheiser RS 180 Headphones exceeded all of my requirements. There is ample room for over the ear hearing aids in the muffs if you need additional sound clarification and tweaking, but the sound quality is so great you don't really need them. The ONLY thing they need is a remote, as the control buttons are too close together making adjustments difficult while on your head. They are very comfortable and can be worn for extended lengths of time. Being able to hear so well again, makes the Sennheiser RS 180 Headphones well worth their cost.

Panasonic KX-TS105W Corded Speakerphone (White) Review

We've got an answering machine and a fax machine, but I needed an additional phone to be by the computer in my downstairs office and I wanted a speakerphone so when I was telecommuting I could call into meetings and listen to them without holding a receiver up to my ear.
I was convinced to buy this phone by the string (until recently aftet I placed my order) of rave reviews for this phone, combined with the terrible reviews for so many other speakerphones that cost less.
I've only had this phone for a few days, but I can say that it is attractive and seems to be built well. I called in to work and tried out the speakerphone and it seemed to work well on both ends. I heard the other party fine and the other party did said I sounded good.
I like the uncluttered controls with big number buttons and big buttons for volume and speakerphone. I didn't have to pay for a lot of features that I don't need.
This phone also has the added bonus of a headset input, so if I ever need to talk a whole lot from my home office, I could get a headset and talk while keeping both hands free. So far, so good.
Postscript: It's September of 2007 and the speaker volume is now impossible to control and the unit seems to be buzzing. I can't use it for conference calls anymore. I guess I'll buy another one, but I'll look around first.
OOPS! I forgot that this phone is powered by three AA batteries. They need to be replaced on occasion. When they start running down, the speakerphone gets squirrely. So, I replaced them and now the phone works fine.

Note that the speakerphone uses AA batteries, not an AC adaptor. Phone does NOT need batteries to work as basic phone. Recommended, but only appears to be sold online.

Plantronics Voyager 500A - Bluetooth headset base unit Review

(More customer reviews)I am hearing challenged and recently purchased new Oticon EPOQ hearing aids. They have an accessory streamer that allows you to connect via bluetooth to up to 8 devices; such as your cell phone, an ipod, television sound, etc. The streamer then routes the sound directly into the hearing aid. I purchased the Plantronics Voyager 500A to connect my multi-line digital work telephone via my streamer to my hearing aids. The Plantronics base unit is designed to be used in conjunction with a bluetooth headset, but it works well with my streamer to accomplish the same goal. Only problem is the base unit has a receiver to "charge" the headset which in my case I do not need. Sometimes the red indicator light on the base blinks for the headset to be recharged and it will not accept calls during this time. Therefore I just unplug the base unit each night and plug it back in in the morning. This circumvents the necessity of charging the headset, which I do not have.

Motorola 56531 Multi Unit Charger / Cloning Station Review

(More customer reviews)I have 2 of these units and 12 of the CLS110 walkies (which by the way are AWESOME). Both of these chargers are frustrating. Rarely can you just insert the walkie for charging and have a solid light come on, which means it's charging. The light will blink meaning it's not making good contact, or the light won't come on at all so you have to jiggle and baby the walkie in the hole to get it to sit just right. In case you're wondering, the contacts on my walkies and the charger are all clean. Sometimes, when you put the walkie in, another walkie or 2 will start to blink so you're constantly playing with them to get them to all have the solid light. I explained this to Motorola and they couldn't do anything because the warranty was up. I've resorted to using cardboard pieces to angle the walkies in, having to remove the new clips from older walkies or remove the battery completely and charge it by itself. There is a separate slot within each well that takes just the battery. Overall, these things work, that is, if you have the patience to finesse each walkie in.
The only reason I use it is because it sure beats having 6 separate chargers you have to plug in.

I paid less than eighty dollars for this brand new unit at a local store and am very impressed with what I got. I bought it to replace my radio in my RV. It has everything I need which basically is just the simple audio-input jack. Between that and the cigarette charger for power, I connect my iPhone with Pandora and I'm all set for a road trip.
The radio is pretty decent as far as the quality goes. It sounds great! An improvement over OEM stereos for sure!
The buttons are small but you get used to them. I think they could have been slightly larger but this was a design decision. I disagree with the previous person stating that the knob it too shallow. That person must have abnormally large fingers because I thought the knob is quite nice.
The radio is decent. It got all of my stations with no hassle. Memorizing stations is dead simple: Hold down the number you wish to save to and walla. That's the way it should be.
The CD playback is as expected. The audio sounds great. MP3 playback is somewhat cumbersome but it's no different than any other stereo on the market when it comes to searching/finding/playing MP3's that are in folders. (how primitive, BTW)
The AUX 1/8" input jack is the key feature here...You can input anything from a DVD player to an iPhone, iPod, Zune, whatever...It does the job and amplifies it.
The remote was killer for me because in an RV, I can control the deck from the kitchen table and that is a great feature. A little velcro on the back of the remote and I've got instant convenience that I will never lose.
The quality of the deck is higher than I expected for a sub $100 radio. The knob felt heavy and quite precise when turning. The other buttons are very small, however and ... forget reading what is printed on them. You really have to take the time to memorize them. It's minor but should be noted for those that may not be able to see smaller things.
My only gripe was that the manual did not give instruction on how to set the clock! I read it 5x times and never saw the instruction for setting the time! I was stunned not to see this. What an oversight. For those that need to know: Turn the unit off by pressing and holding the main knob. Now press and hold the clock button and press and hold the main knob. The 12: will start to flash. Now press the up/down buttons then when you are done, press the left/right buttons and when you are done, just press the main knob and its set. How crazy that they didn't tell you that (I spent over an hour pressing buttons like a monkey until I figured out the right combination)
Even with that oversight in the manual, I still give it 5 stars. It was easy to connect and very straightforward. I'm certain it will give me years of quality playing while in the RV.
