(More customer reviews)This is a handy little portable that does exactly as advertised. For the mid-price, the sound is OKAY, frankly, if you want great sound, save up the several hundred dollars and buy a Bose. What you get here is something akin to a table radio with a spot for your I-Pod. I have an I-pod classic and a Nano (2009 model) and they both get into the dock easily. The volume is adjustable; despite the other reviews here, I am having no sound/volume problems. So far, I have used this as a desk player and at an event where I just wanted some music as I sat around with people passing by. The Tag-along is VERY lightweight, making it easy to cart around. Overall, a satisfactory music maker if you don't get your expectations too high.

(More customer reviews)This was the best gift ever! I bought two one for my 12 yr old n 1 for my fiances 14 yr old and the both thought it was the coolest gift ever. They both got the new ipods and reported back that the movie watching ability was AWESOME! My daughter loves the two alarm clock setting function one for reg school days n one for late start. The sound quality is awesome the radio function is awesome. These are the words from teenagers. I highly recommend this to anyone especially for teens. U can not find this ANYWHERE in stores and I had a tough time finding it onliine so a BIG thank u to amazon and thank u to the pep boys

Iphone/Ipod Tower Speaker Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased the Ilive docking tower after months of researching the perfect docking tower for the money. I wanted to purchase the Philips dc570 but, the item has been discontinued and few to none had it in stock. So I also gave a quick thought for the docking tower sold by brookstone. I actually heard the system and it had great sound, but the price was a little too expensive for me at the time. So I went ahead and bought the Ilive tower. I must say that I am pleasently surprised with the sound quality and the look of the tower. The device sits cozy in the corner and doesn't take up much space at all. It also didn't hurt that the tower was under 100.00 when I bought it.
I have to say that I do enjoy the Ilive docking tower and I would recommend this item to all.

Why would they build something for the night stand
and not include a earphone jack.
You cannot use this for a charging station while you listen
to your music privately at night.
True you can use the jack on the Ipad but the design doesn't
allow access to the jack on the Ipod.
Very unhappy with this but.
