(More customer reviews)The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the alarm won't work unless the unit is OFF (which also kills the lighted display). However, I figured out a work-around: set the "timer OFF" BEFORE the "timer ON" time to ensure that the unit will be off after you listen to whatever you listen to when you go to sleep. Yes, there's a TIMER function, but then you can't see the time (at night in the dark) if the unit is OFF!
