(More customer reviews)Sometimes complex problems can have very simple solutions. This product proved to be such a solution for my problem.
I have an earlier model of Bose SoundDock which works only with iPods and does not have an input for an external device. When I needed a small but good quality sound system to go with my DLP projector, my best option seemed like going for another Bose or JBL iPod dock with an external input connection, which seemed like a waste of money. And then I came across this product in Amazon. There were only two reviews for this product at the time, and both were favourable. I took a chance and ordered it.
The product arrived earlier than the expected delivery date, and was in perfect condition. I played the Sound Dock first with the regular iPod connection, and then with this product, and I really couldn't tell the difference! I am quite finicky about the way my audio system sounds, and I tried different types of songs and music, but still no difference! Both sound exactly the same! Now I can use my old Bose SoundDock as the audio system for my projector, and it works with all kinds of AV players.
Overall I am extremely satisfied with this product. It proved to be a very simple and effective solution to a potentially big problem.
