(More customer reviews)The clarion HD tuner is just OK. I live near two large metropolitan cities and I am just not overly impressed with it's reception over my regular antenna. It does not quite "lock on" to frequencies all that great, seems similiar to my regular radio. The additional "HD" stations do not all come in well either. I have owned this for a week, maybe I'll be more impressed in time.
Installation was a breeze, I recommend heavy duty velcro for mounting.

Catch the Next Wave in Radio HD Radio is a new service that broadcasts high-definition radio programming using digital technology. Think of it this way--what HDTV did for TV, HD Radio does for radio. HD Radio broadcasts on the AM and FM bands, and does not require a subscription to receive.
