(More customer reviews)Purchased this product in conjunction with a Samsung Nexus 50. It allows me to take the small tuner module to record on the Nexus or to work on this dock with my XM-ready Yamaha home theater receiver. Turns out I didn't even need to mount the antenna in a window or outside facing South. It works with a decent signal level located inside a cabinet on the south wall of my house, picking up sufficient signal levels through the cabinet and the outside wall of my house!!! I just used the tuner display of signal strength and moved it around till I found a good signal, avoiding the need to buy an extention cable, drilling a hole through the wall and mounting it outside.

Terk SR1 Glass-mount XM Satellite Radio Antenna Review

(More customer reviews)Great product. I have one in my '01 Pathfinder, mounted on the rear left glass. Although it is bigger than you think it is from the picture, it doesn't have an ugly appearance like the "dog tick" antennas. It comes with a simple mounting template and you just peel & stick. No problem with the adhesive.
Just be careful you mount it on flat surface. My installer mounted mine on a curved surface, and after several months water leaked in and ruined it. Terk replaced it free. I put the replacement in the same position, but ran a small bead of silicon around it to keep it dry.
Highly recommended for auto XM installations.

The Audiovox XMC-10 XM Second Vehicle Kit for Xpress XM7 Satellite Radio Receiver lets you bring your Audiovox Xpress XM7 receiver with you into another vehicle, and share your satellite radio with friends and family wherever you go. This second vehicle kit is easy to use, and lets you share a single XM satellite subscription across multiple cars.
The Audiovox XMC-10 provides you with a low-profile docking station for the Audiovox Xpress XM7 receiver, and requires this receiver (purchased separately) in order to provide you with XM satellite radio. The XMC-10 features a swivel bracket so you can mount your docking station at the most optimal usage angle, and a cigarette lighter 12-volt to 5-volt DC power adapter to provide power and even recharge your XM7 receiver. Terk XM11 Glass-mount XM Satellite Radio Antenna Review

(More customer reviews)These antennas were made obsolete by the appearence of the newer micro antennas and single lead connectors. But don't discount uses for this 2-lead antenna yet, especially at the significantly reduced prices (one-half to one-third the cost of newer antennas).

I can't recommend using this on your auto - but works fine as an alternative installation for my Dephi Roady indoors. I attached the antenna to my office window which has a clear view of the southern sky. Works fine - 3 bars. Modification of the plug was a "snap" - You might have to experiment with either the "sat" or "ter" lead as your source. In my area the "sat" lead worked just as well as in my car.
