(More customer reviews)I was looking for an affordable wireless speaker that allowed me to stream wireless music directly from my cell phone (Samsung Instinct) and found the Tenqa SP-109 Bluetooth Speaker. I could not be more pleased with this product! This product is exactly what I have been searching for in terms of mobility. It's easy to use, practical, and has a good sound. The device is simple and straightforward to setup & pair with devices each use. The speaker is about the size of a radio alarm clock and includes a DC-adapter power cord. Pairing the device with my cell phone was a cinch. After powering on the device it immediately registered on my phone, I clicked connect and was done. The best feature of this product, for me is the mobility I can have. I can connect and control the music from anywhere in my apartment, allowing me to move from room to room without the hassle of leaving my phone plugged into a stationary device. I was skeptical about finding an inexpensive bluetooth speaker that could provide quality sound but after using the Tenqa SP-109 for a few weeks my doubts are gone. The sound is great for its size and for the price. I recommend this product to anyone who is looking for an affordable, quality wireless speaker system. I plan to purchase one as a Xmas gift for my sister who likes to listen to music on her iPhone but hates the hassle of having to leave it connected to a docking station. This is a five-star product without a doubt!

They both got the new ipods and reported back that the movie watching ability was AWESOME! My daughter loves the two alarm clock setting function one for reg school days n one for late start. The sound quality is awesome the radio function is awesome. These are the words from teenagers. I highly recommend this to anyone especially for teens. U can not find this ANYWHERE in stores and I had a tough time finding it onliine so a BIG thank u to amazon and thank u to the pep boys

It saves the space of a big boombox and a book of cds.My kitchen must be 20x16 ft. and the sound is enough to make you have to yell over it to hear someone, w/o hearing any major distortion.Pretty good bass for a little speaker as well.Easily paired to my cell phone with 350 plus songs, makes it a good purchase for me.

Tivoli Audio SBBS Songbook (Black/Silver) Review

(More customer reviews)I have owned a Tivoli Pal for many years and thought a traveling Tivoli would be great. My wife needed a last minute rush Xmas gift for me and I suggested this without having seen one or doing research, instead relying on Tivolio brand expectations. Expected the radio to be rubberclad like the Pal, the one we got is slick hard to hold onto plastic, looks and feels like the "tansistor radio" I owned 40 years ago. Radio reception is fair, a $75 Audiovox I have in the same room locks onto a distant radio station I constantly listen too. Pluging the A/C adaper in causes static. Sound quality is equal to the Pal which would warrant 2 stars if not for the weak radio tuner.
This was a waste of money

Okay, this thing has all the technology - It's got bluetooth connectivity, including the ability to play music from another device wireless and answer phone calls (built-in mic). It has an SD card slot, and a USB slot for other devices (haven't tried this out yet). It has an iPod dock. It'll even rip your CDs. I haven't seen anything on the market with this many options.
* Ease of Use (Interface)
This is where things start to go a bit off. It's not the easiest device to use. The display doesn't show the most relevant information. For example, if you're looking at it in bluetooth mode, it just keeps repeating the words "BLUETOOTH" in caps on the screen. But that's redundant because I already know that fact due to the big flashing blue light in the corner. Also, though this thing looks like a clock radio, it doesn't function very well as one (it rarely shows the time throughout the various functions - alarm is hard to set).
* Sound
It's fair - Not a whole lot of bass, mids are a little muddy, highs are very nice. Having said that, I don't have a comparable reference - I'm comparing it to my home stereo system and the bose wave radio.
* Quality / How's it Look
A good looking device - Definitely doesn't look cheap. It's got a big back end on it, but overall isn't too large. Fits on my nightstand just fine. The buttons are a little plasticky.
* In Summary
I'm going to continue using it - if only because there's no stereo out there that has this mix of features. I bought a bluetooth adapter for my ipod touch. It's very cool that I can be sitting anywhere in my bedroom and picking music. And if it runs short on batteries, I can drop it right into the ipod dock. But... I'm going to have to dig my 15-year-old clock radio out of the closet.

Why would they build something for the night stand
and not include a earphone jack.
You cannot use this for a charging station while you listen
to your music privately at night.
True you can use the jack on the Ipad but the design doesn't
allow access to the jack on the Ipod.
Very unhappy with this but.
